Extending The Victoria Line | Southeastern Part 2
This is Part 2 of my Southeastern restructuring series. In this episode, I explore a proposal to extend the Victoria line beyond Brixton and completely rethink how parts of South London's rail network could operate. The idea isn’t just to extend the Tube for the sake of it. This forms part of a wider plan to simplify the Southeastern network, reduce branching, improve reliability and create a more metro-style service across South London. The proposal includes a new route via Herne Hill, Sydenham Hill, Beckenham Junction and Bromley South, while also looking at wider impacts on Thameslink and passenger flows around Brixton.
