Foc la camin cultural Verendin Caras Severin

At some point, someone noticed that thick smoke was coming out of the roof of the cultural center, in the kitchen area. In a few seconds, huge flames engulfed the entire roof and the entire building turned into an inferno. People still managed to save something, including food and drinks that were transported to another place. Luckily, the food was stored in the refrigerator and the fire did not reach them. By the time the military firefighters arrived, the villagers had mobilized and everyone, from children to the elderly, jumped in with buckets of water or whatever they could. Tractors began to arrive from all over the village, towing water tanks or trailers containing cans or barrels of water. Unfortunately, even though the village has a hydrant network, it is non-functional. Let's not forget that on June 21, four houses burned like torches - also in Verendin. The villagers accuse the City Hall leadership of not getting involved in this particularly serious problem: the lack of fire hydrants in the locality.
