“Week 2 in Kigali… and This Changed Everything”

Our second week living in Kigali, Rwanda is already starting to feel different—and in this vlog, we’re taking you along as we begin building our life here, one moment at a time. From visiting a local fish market in Nyamirambo to cooking fresh meals at home, this week was all about experiencing everyday life in a new way. We explored downtown Kigali, adjusted to simple but important things like setting up service with MTN Rwanda, and continued learning how to navigate daily life in a place that still feels new. We also stepped into new opportunities with a business meeting that made everything feel more real, visited a local nursery to start creating a home environment, and enjoyed a night out at Inka Steakhouse—a beautiful reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. This week wasn’t about big milestones—it was about the small shifts. The kind that quietly remind you that you’re not just visiting anymore… you’re building a life. If you’ve ever thought about relocating abroad, starting over in your 50s, or are curious about what life in Kigali is really like—this journey is for you. ⸻ ✨ CALL TO ACTION Follow our journey on Live in the Middle as we navigate life, change, and starting over in our 50s all while relocating to a new country! 👉 Subscribe for new videos every Sunday 👉 Watch more of our journey:    • Kigali Diaries   💬 We’d love to hear from you: What would be the hardest part of starting over in a new country?
