Episodio 6. El Pentateuco Samaritano. Curso "La Biblia y sus manuscritos"

In episode 6 of the course "The Bible and its Manuscripts," Dr. Ignacio Carbajosa, Professor of Old Testament at the Faculty of Theology at San Dámaso University, talks about the Samaritan Pentateuch. In this video, we'll see how, in addition to the Jews, there is a second community that preserved and transmitted a part of the Bible in Hebrew: the Samaritans, who were estranged from Jerusalem long before Jesus' dialogue with the Samaritan woman. In this episode, we study the Samaritan Pentateuch, that is, the first five books of the Bible that that community considered sacred. We will discuss the differences with respect to the Hebrew Masoretic text.
