Diesel Heater… Here’s the REAL Fuel & Battery Cost

This 12minute video demonstrates briefly a 2kw diesel heater in a 20ft pop top caravan during the outside evening temperatures of about 7 deg Celsius. There is on this heater control panel 10 level settings. Demonstrate Standby mode, power startup, running at level 3, running at level 1 before turning off the heater with the shutdown power off before returning back to standby mode. Gives 12v battery amps for each stage. followed by a internal and external view of the heater setup on the caravan and why does the smoke appear for about a minute on startup only. there is no problem starting up ignition and smoke clears after a minute and running is smokeless, the unit is only a few months or so old, so can't imagine the combustion chamber with carbon buildup yet, but maybe I'm wrong and might have to take the unit apart to check and clean if necessary.
