This Started as a Simple Kit… (I Took It Too Far)
This started as a pretty simple kit… but I wanted to push it further. This is Part 2 of the build. The goal was to take the base detail and rebuild it into something more realistic — adding structure, wiring, and functional elements where the kit fell short. Small changes, but they completely change how the model reads. Model: Heinkel He 162 (1/48 scale) From scratch-built components to refined surface detail, this build was all about pushing past what comes in the box and seeing how far it could go. — Kit: Tamiya Heinkel He 162 (1/48 scale) #scalemodel #modelmaking #plasticscale #scratchbuild #miniatures #he162
