The First American to Enter Space (Full Interview)
In 1998, Alan Shepard was interviewed about his career. He was the first American in space, and also was the fifth person to walk on the moon. This interview was part of an oral history collection at the NASA Johnson Space Center. He was interviewed at his home in Pebble Beach, California, by Roy Neal on February 20, 1998, five months before his death from leukemia. #history #nasa #space #apollo
