We Put TOO MUCH ROCK on The Driveway... and it BACKFIRED!

We thought adding more 3/4” rock to the lower portion of our driveway would help… but instead, it came back to bite us. For weeks, we’ve been dealing with spin-out issues on the lower stretch where too much loose rock was added, while the section we left alone has actually held up just fine. So this weekend, we finally decided it was time to fix the problem we created — by carefully scraping off the excess without digging into the road base and larger gravel layers underneath. Once we got that handled, we shifted back to the pump house build and kept the irrigation project moving forward by finishing more of the prep work for the upcoming plumbing and electronics install.
