Exploring Wave Cave, Carney Springs & Shaka Cave | Superstition Mountains

These are three places you can hit in one trip. Wave Cave as super popular and they recently took out the parking so now you'll have to start at the Lost Goldmine East Trailhead. Come early because it gets crowded and in the summer it gets HOT!. You're pretty exposed on this hike. Shaka Cave is right along the way to Carney Springs but you may need to look it up on All Trails or you'll walk right by it. If you want to see water, you'll need to time it just right... after a big storm or when there is snow on the superstitions. Otherwise it's usually dry. It's still worth the trip.
