Geronimo Cave, Lone Tree & Fremont Saddle | Rain, Thunder & Epic Superstition Views

What started as a hot and humid climb up Bluff Springs Trail turned into one of our favorite weather days in the Superstition Wilderness. Join Dianna and me as we hike from Peralta Trailhead to Geronimo Cave, continue to Lone Tree, visit Fremont Saddle, and return via Peralta Trail. Along the way we were treated to dramatic storm clouds, rain showers, thunder echoing through Peralta Canyon, incredible views of Weaver's Needle, and even a herd of Texas Longhorn cattle on the drive in. The route to Geronimo Cave follows a well-traveled user path but is not an official maintained trail. If you plan to hike this route, be sure to download an offline map before heading out. This hike reminded us why we love the Superstitions so much. The weather changed constantly, the views were incredible, and the rain made the entire experience even better. 🥾 Trail Information Distance: Approximately 6 miles Route: Peralta Trailhead → Bluff Springs Trail → Geronimo Cave → Lone Tree → Fremont Saddle → Peralta Trail 📍 AllTrails Route: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/ar... 🎥 Hiking with Dianna:    / @rebel_by_nature   ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 Thunder Teaser 00:20 Route Overview 00:51 Longhorn Cattle on Peralta Road 01:35 Arriving at Peralta Trailhead 01:55 Starting Bluff Springs Trail 04:04 Leaving Bluff Springs for Geronimo Cave 07:07 Photo Stop & Storm Clouds 07:27 Final Climb to Geronimo Cave 09:53 Arriving at Geronimo Cave 10:48 Rain at the Cave 11:34 Leaving the Cave 12:58 Lone Tree & Weaver's Needle Views 13:46 Rain Returns 14:24 Hiking to Fremont Saddle 14:55 Fremont Saddle Views 15:34 Beginning the Descent 17:14 Thunder Echoes Through Peralta Canyon 18:09 Hiking Through Rain 19:21 Back at the Trailhead 19:22 Drive Out #SuperstitionMountains #GeronimoCave #WeaversNeedle #ArizonaHiking #HikingArizona #FremontSaddle #LoneTree #PeraltaTrail #BluffSpringsTrail #Thunderstorm #RainHike #AdventuresWithMissy #AdventuresWithMissyAZ #RebelByNature
