Daz Tackles the Linkages & Steve Finishes the Gearbox | Wespe Update
This week on the Wespe restoration, progress continues on two fronts. Daryl begins assembling the internal control linkages inside the freshly painted hull, showing just how complex and cramped these systems are to work on. At the same time, Steve puts the final touches on the Wespe transmission, finishing assembly and demonstrating the deeply satisfying mechanical clunk of the gear changes. A hands-on workshop episode showing the craftsmanship, precision, and patience required to bring these systems back to life. Filmed at the Australian Armour & Artillery Museum.
