Welcome to Thailand! Phuket Day 1 & 2

POV: Your husband tells you to pack for a hot holiday... but refuses to tell you where you're going. ✈️🌴 This has somehow become our thing, and this time I didn't find out the destination until we were at the airport gate. THAILAND! 🇹🇭✨ After a flight surrounded by crying babies, parents pacing the aisles, and very little sleep, we landed in Phuket to some of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. The turquoise coastline from above was absolutely mesmerising. Day 1 was all about recovering from travel, enjoying the hotel, and eating far too much delicious food. Day 2 was where the adventure began: 📍 Wat Chalong (Wat Chaiyathararam) – Phuket's most important temple, home to a sacred Buddha relic. 📍 Phuket Old Town – colourful streets, local vendors, souvenir shops, elephant trousers everywhere, tropical fruits, and so much character. 📍 NumNum Old Town Cafe – a hidden gem we stumbled across. 📍 A local market full of amazing food and local finds. 📍 De Flora Spa – hands down the BEST massage I've ever had in my life. I already want to go back. 📍 Bangla Road - wow... sensory overload in the best possible way! 😂 Neon lights, loud music, packed streets, performers, vendors, and more people than I think I've ever seen in one place. It was chaotic, vibrant, and completely different from the peaceful temples and colourful streets we'd explored earlier in the day. Phuket, you've set the bar very high. 💛
