Even though we are visiting Phuket in May during the beginning of the low season, the weather was surprisingly beautiful, breezy, and perfect for exploring. After checking out from our budget hotel in busy Patong, we walk to Jungceylon Mall, meet Playo coming from Bangkok, and take a Grab to our next hotel — a beautiful 5-star resort along the hills of Patong, only around 2 km away from the center. This time, we check into Amari Phuket in Patong, a stunning resort with sea views, pools, restaurants, peaceful corners, and a completely different atmosphere compared to the busy streets of Patong. Since our room was not ready yet, we explored the resort, checked the facilities, and enjoyed the calm luxury vibes before finally checking into our room with beautiful views over Patong Beach. Later, we head to Rawai Seafood Market, one of the best places in Phuket for fresh and affordable seafood. Along the way, we show how calm Phuket feels during the low season, then choose our seafood, check the prices, and enjoy a delicious local seafood experience. After that, we stop by Nikita’s, a beautiful local bar near Rawai, before heading back to the hotel for a swim before sunset. In the evening, we explore the resort’s beautiful seaside pier, enjoy sunset drinks, and take in one of the most relaxing views in Patong. The next morning, we continue with a beautiful breakfast by the sea, showing the food options, the peaceful atmosphere, and the full 5-star resort experience before ending the vlog.
