This isn’t a normal service station. Tebay Services, on the M6 in Cumbria, is the only independent, family-run motorway stop in Britain. No McDonald’s. No Costa. No fast-food chains at all. Instead, there’s a farm shop, local produce, homemade pies, and a view of the Cumbrian hills. People call it posh road food. But is that totally brilliant… or totally ridiculous for a motorway stop?
