Free from Freedom - Acts 21:17 - 35

In Acts 21:17–35, Paul demonstrates what it truly means to live in the freedom found in Christ. Although he is no longer bound by the ceremonial requirements of the Law, he willingly participates in Jewish customs—not to earn salvation, but to avoid creating unnecessary barriers to the gospel. As Paul explains elsewhere, he became "a Jew to the Jews" and "as one outside the law to those outside the law" so that by all possible means he might save some. Christian freedom is not a license to insist on our own rights but an opportunity to lovingly serve others. Paul's example challenges us to lay aside personal preferences when they hinder our witness, using our freedom with humility, wisdom, and love to strengthen fellow believers and point others to Christ.
