The Thunder Horse is the largest of our production and drilling platforms in this area. In 2017, the work started with the southern expansion project, which consists of creating a new drilling centre two miles south of the Thunder Horse platform. This expansion could provide the area with 50,000 extra barrels of oil produced per day, and make the most out of the resources we already have near us. ------------------------- Our purpose is reimagining energy for people and our planet. We want to help the world reach net zero and improve people’s lives. We will aim to dramatically reduce carbon in our operations and in our production, and grow new low carbon businesses, products and services.
