アンガーマネジメントを精神科医が解説します。
[Video Summary] Today, we'll be thinking about anger management. Thank you for watching. 〇 The Importance of Anger Control Everyone feels anger sometimes, and sometimes they take it out on others. Adults often suppress anger out of fear of the other person's reaction, but in parent-child relationships, anger is difficult to control because children don't retaliate. Anger management is especially important when parents get angry at their children. 〇 Anger Issues in Parent-Child Relationships Parents often apologize after getting angry, but the memory of that anger remains with children. In outpatient visits, we often see children suffering psychologically in parent-child relationships where anger control is impaired. Parents need to learn how to properly control their anger. 〇 How to Overcome Peak Anger Anger tends to peak within 5 to 10 minutes and then quickly cool down. When anger is at its peak, the most effective thing to do is to leave the situation. ・When you feel angry, it can be effective to express your emotions in writing or words. 〇The Importance of Advance Preparation and Organization ・Anger often occurs in only two or three patterns, so it's a good idea to organize them in advance. ・It can also be helpful to practice objectively viewing anger by performing skits with a counselor. ・Understanding what makes you angry can make it easier to control your emotions. 〇Practicing Anger Management ・Two things are particularly recommended: distancing yourself from the object of your anger and preparing in advance. ・Practicing anger management can reduce the psychological impact on the person you're angry with. ・It is also important to reduce the frequency of anger and prevent it from having a negative impact on the other person's personality development. 〇The Effects of Anger and Countermeasures ・When memories of being scolded remain strong, the other person may shut out external stimuli as a defensive reaction. ・While techniques for shutting out the senses and suppressing unpleasant memories may be necessary, if they become a part of your daily routine, they can have a negative impact on your personality. Those who are angry should strive to use appropriate anger management and avoid negatively impacting the other person.
