One week in Asia's fascinating city: HONG KONG! That was our first time and we stayed on a normal budget, got around on the Star Ferry and MTR, hiked up to Victoria Peak, took the cable car through fog to the Big Buddha, ate snake soup, and found a cool beer stand right on the waterfront. We even crossed over to Macau for a day. This is our honest look at Hong Kong. No five-star hotels, no luxury — just the experiences that made our week special. His first journey took him with us and a van for 5 months to France, Spain and Portugal. Since then and because he (and we) loved the adventures so much, we decided to show him other countries as well.
