TREC is an operation with a fairly slow recovery, so it's normal for vision to worsen after surgery, and then it will slowly return to what it was before. Most patients take about 1 month to recover their vision, but this can take up to 3 months. In addition, there are some other changes that can occur after surgery and blur vision, such as changes in eyeglass prescription, increased cataract size, and low intraocular pressure.
