However, it's common to see intraocular pressure rise during the use of postoperative eye drops and only stabilize after their discontinuation. Then we move on to MIBS surgeries, which include implants like Xen and Preserflo. These procedures have the advantage of rapidly reducing intraocular pressure and protecting against the effects of corticosteroid eye drops. Finally, we'll address traditional surgeries, such as trabeculectomy (TREC) and valve implantation. These are the most invasive techniques and also the most effective in reducing intraocular pressure, although the post-operative period can be more complex and variable.
