Alternatively, you can simply place the plant into a larger pot without disturbing the roots. Step 2: Trimming and Pruning Next, it's time for some gentle root pruning. Trimming smaller roots like this encourages healthy growth. We'll also trim the leaves with precision, being extra cautious not to damage the plant's skin.
