How to Repot Adenium Bonsai from Deep Pot to Shallow Pot Today I`m going to show you how to repot this bonsai plant in a shallow pot. The video first shows an Adenium Bonsai plant in a deep pot. Then the plant is uprooted from the deep pot and soil is removed from the roots. After washing out soil from the roots,the small thin roots are cut off because that part of the root will be exposed in the open air. Branches are trimmed to make a thick canopy and adenium sap is wiped out. Now the open cut area is covered with a paste of fungiside. The plant is now left to dry for 5 days. After 5 days` drying. Root tips are cut off because 1. It will inspire fresh roots to grow. 2. The roots will be set in shallow pot. The adenium is then left in bright shade for 2 days. After 2 days drying the adenium plant is repotted in a shallow pot. Potting Mix used is a combination of : 1. Garden soil 30% 2. Coarse sand 30% 3. Vermi compost 30% 4. Coco peat 10% Dried banana peels are added to the potting mix.. Soil from this area will be removed later on and then the roots will be exposed in open air.
