To start, I will begin with the realistic things. I loved the food models that were provided, along with the other duty free items and drinks that had animations. Furthermore, the security system was very realistic and accurate to reality. Next, the unrealistic things. The unrealistic things mostly include both the departure and arrival airports. Airport: 3/6 The only reason why this score is not a 1/6 or a 0/6 and is a 3/6 is due to the fact that Punta Cana had quite a number of stores/restaurants that served food, beverages, and duty free items. However, I noticed a message in the loading screen that told me about how South Pacific strives to make their airports as realistic as possible to their real-world counterparts. Well, that was just ENTIRELY untrue. Punta Cana was extremely off its real-world counterpart and looked almost nothing alike. It was missing a runway, its runway marking was wrong, and the overall airport structure was entirely different. Furthermore, London Heathrow was a tiny terminal which is nowhere remotely close to the real thing. Seat: 4/6 My business class seat was quite functional. While it didn't look the most comfortable, with the seat being relatively thin and un-cushioned looking, the seat had a number of animations to it. I was able to raise/lower my arm rest, a unique feature, and I was able to take out my tray table as well as recline my seat. My seat recline was wonderful and my legroom was outstanding. IFE: 6/6 South Pacific's main pinpoint of their product is definitely their IFE system. It is very functional while also being sleek, smooth running, and simple to use. I found that there was lots to do on it from checking my flight status and the weather to listening to music, playing games, and more. Other airlines should definitely take notes! Food: 5/6 There was an incredible amount of food options both in the air and on the ground at Punta Cana. Furthermore, the drinks were animated and the food/meal items I received were realistic and nicely modeled. On the contrary, the ability to only order 3 food/drink items onboard was disappointing. Service: 4/6 The staff members and crew members aboard South Pacific Airways were willing to help but not as enthusiastic as I would think. However, they were professional and had upkept decent roleplay throughout the flight. TOTAL SCORE: 27/40 South Pacific Airways received a total score of 27/40. While I do think that their IFE is stellar and their vast amount of food options should stay precisely where they are, the same cannot be said for South Pacific Airway's airports. Their statement about striving for the most real-life accurate airports is just 100% fake and I really wish that they actually try to remake their airports--both departures and destinations--to fit that statement.
