Great Central Railway Spring Diesel Gala 2026 - The Sun Was Out For The Diesel Locomotives!

The sun was out and it was perfect weather for the Great Central Railway Spring Diesel Gala 2026. Passenger and freight trains were seen throughout the event travelling up and down the line. Towards the end of Friday afternoon, there was some issues just outside Rothley, so the last freight train of the afternoon had to pass signal at danger. In this video you hear the thrashing of the diesel locomotives working hard, and the sounds of the horns as they pass by.
