However, this time, instead of heading towards Yokohama Station from Musashi-Kosugi Station, the train will enter the private Sagami Railway (Sotetsu Line) and run to Hazawa Yokohama-Kokudai Station. Shinjuku Station is the station with the world's largest number of passengers. The train heads south from here, running parallel to the Yamanote Line, which has a circular route in the city center, until it reaches Osaki Station, from which it changes direction to the west and runs parallel to the Tokaido Shinkansen tracks until it reaches Musashi-Kosugi Station in Kawasaki City. From this station, the train runs on the tracks that join the private Sagami Railway, and eventually passes through a long tunnel before reaching Hazawa Yokohama-Kokudai Station. The area around Hazawa Yokohama-Kokudai Station was a sparsely populated area because there was no passenger rail service before, but now high-rise apartment buildings and commercial facilities are being built near the station.
