Shirakawa Go Winter Light Up! Japan 2020 | thisNatasha | Gifu | Takayama - Shirakawa Go by Car

We take a day trip from Takayama to Shirakawa Go for the annual light up! Every year the Unesco World Heritage site of Shirakawa Go lights up in the evening, sometimes it snows, this time it didn't! We went a little early to enjoy the day in the village, going inside the Gassho Zukuri houses and seeing the view in the daytime. We then took a bus up the mountain in the evening to see the view at night as well as walk around the town as it was lit up. We also show the journey getting there. Thanks for watching!!!
