Alla Knyzhnyk is a woman who deeply knows the price of suffering and at the same time the power of faith that holds even in the darkest periods of life. “If in grief you narrow your gaze to a telescope and look at everything only through the prism of your own pain, you only deepen your suffering. But if other people, God, or circumstances help you broaden your view during suffering, then you begin to see much more good around you.” This issue is a frank story of a woman whom God called to spiritual care and adoption of children. She is a mother of ten children, six of whom are adopted. Her path is a path of love, sacrifice, and great inner strength. She also experienced the hardest thing — the loss of a child. And despite the pain, simple but incredibly strong words sound in her heart: “I don’t understand what’s happening, but I have to move on.” This episode is about faith that does not deny pain, but gives strength to live on.
