The African savanna shimmered under the blazing midday sun, with golden grass swaying in waves across the endless plains. The heat was thick and heavy, enveloping all living things like an invisible blanket. In the distance, a pride of lions rested lazily beneath sparse acacia trees; they were full after the morning hunt. Among them was a curious little lion cub, barely three months old; his playful nature constantly led him a bit further than was safe. While the adults dozed in the shade, the cub’s boundless energy took over. He slipped away from the pride, silently padding with his tiny paws over the sun-scorched earth.
