Unboxing a "New To Me" PRS SE CU 22 Semi Hollow 2021 Electric Guitar w/basic sound sample

Is This going to be what I was "Hoping For"? Let's Find Out! I had been thinking about the new DGT version now offered in the SE line.... but they are in a Pre-Order mode still (at at the time of this video) and will be very hard to find a "Demo" or "B" Stock guitar for a while, I think..... so I looked at the SE CU-22 Semi Hollowbody thinking it might fill that hole in my Guitar Tool Kit without spending almost twice as much! The PRS SE CU-22 (Custom Model with 22 frets) in Santana Yellow. A Dual Humbucker (85/15 "S" pickups) equipped electric guitar with a trem, or Vibrato system & great sounding Coil Split option. What's Not to LIKE?!?!? I'll have to wait to dial in the action completely to my liking, but so Far...... So Good! Tell me what YOU think of "Locking Tuners", and replacing control knobs to "dress up" a guitar. Are these things that are important to YOU? Comment down in the Description Box below. I was really liking what I was seeing in the newly released DGT SE model... except for the price tag (Yes, it is a LOT less than the Core version... but still more than I want to spend) While visiting and delivering things to my Daughter's place I stopped by the Guitar Center that is a few blocks away....I tried out one of the PRS SE CU-22 models that they had in used...priced at $689.00. I'd seen them advertised for less except I'd have to pay shipping. Guitar Center wasn't able to give me a decent trade-in value on a guitar that I did have that I could part with...so I left & quit thinking about it... until this one came up on a post that said the Owner was re-listing it at a Great Price including the shipping. I responded with a little lower offer, they countered...and we finally agreed on that deal. I did put a set of 10-46 gauge strings on (this is what I use on all of my standard Electrics) and it feels much better to me, but I will need to let it settle for a week or so before I can dial in the action to my playing preferences & style.
