PRS SE CU-22 Semi Hollow, Harley Benton CST 24HB & Harley Benton HB 35+, Will they sound the same?
Which one do you think will sound the best? (Use good Headphones for best sound quality!) This Comparison Shocked me!!! Let me know which one you preferred....and Why. Share your thoughts in the Comment section below! Many people claim that the sound of the Electric Guitar comes from the pickups..... Not from the way the guitar is constructed, or from the woods used. Does this Comparison prove that premise? Does it show something a little different? Remember...the 2 Harley Benton Guitars are both stock & have the exact same pickups from the factory & using the exact same string sets, the D'Addario 10-46XL! Closing thoughts..... both of the Harley Benton Semi Hollowbody guitars have (supposedly) the SAME pickups! Yet these guitars sound VERY different from each other. Same strings used on all 3 guitars. The first two have the same scale length of 25", the third has the 24 3/4" scale length... not a big difference. I didn't expect the PRS SE CU-22 Semi Hollow and the Harley Benton HB-35 Plus to sound as similar as they did! They have very different body designs, different pickups & different scale lengths, yet I feel they sound much closer than the 2 Harley Benton guitars do, which have the SAME pickups! What do think?
