Simplicity 9265 Pattern Review Sew a cute summer dress today! If you plan to sew summer clothes than this is your pattern. If you want to sew a tiered dress than this is your pattern! Its a great way to learn how to make a summer dress for beginners. Its an easy diy summer dress. Pattern Description: Loose fitting, summer Tier dress with a zipper enclosure. Maxi Length or knee length. No Sleeves Short Sleeves Long Sleeve with ruffles *you can use a wide variety of fabric. I used a cotton poplin. I made a tiered tunic length because I wanted something to wear with black leggings. Pattern Sizing: XXS- XXL - I made size large and could have made size medium (but may need zipper) Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I think so. Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes What did you particularly like or dislike about the dress pattern? I like the Very easy bodice, easy darts on the side and the v neck has a facing. Alterations. I don’t like how they attach the tiers so I just did it the regular way. I just ruffled strips for the sleeves.
