1/72 HASEGAWA Nakajima G8N1 Attack Bomber Renzan ´Rita´ - Timelapse Build

In our next build let´s try our hands on the 1/72nd scale Renzan (Mountain Range in Japanese) Attack Bomber, a lovely historic 4-prop attack bomber from the WWII era, of which only four were built. If you do know why the orange signal color, do leave a comment, perhaps because it was a only a prototype? Assembly was easy and straight forward, considering it is a tooling from the 1968, well done HASEGAWA. Not much sanding needed and the provided decals were ok, the red insignia was used for the lower wing section though and the top and side insignias I grabbed from a Tamiya kit. Decal solution is Tamiya´s super strong as well as Micro Sol and Micro Set. I did forget to mention that I used 3 different colors of primer, black for the bottom, green for the sides, and white for the top, due to I tried to simulated darker shadows gradually flowing into the top. Since the color is a strong orange, white is probably a good primer base to pop the orange...
