Appalachian Trail Thru Hike 2026 - Days 94 & 95 (the one passing the halfway point)

Halfway Point, 1100 miles. Half Gallon Challenge!!! Big day with lots of milestones… Completed Half Gallon Challenge (half gallon of ice cream in one sitting) in 27 minutes and 3 seconds. Record for this year was 13 minutes and change. Easy hiking day for most part - got thru Pi e Grove Furnace State Park (where half gallon challenge is located at the General Store). Found dispersed site a few miles past park. Had 2 beers that I carried out from Chambersburg (had 3 but gave one to Tootie). Nice way to end the day!
