Bordon Car Boot Sale… I'd Rather Run 16 Miles!

After arriving at the Bordon car boot sale with my other half, I decided to leave the car behind and run the 16 miles home. The route took me through some of the most varied and beautiful scenery in East Hampshire and Surrey, including Alice Holt Forest, Wrecclesham, Farnham Town Centre, Farnham Castle, the beautiful Farnham Park, Caesar's Camp, Ewshot, and finally Church Crookham before reaching Fleet. One of the highlights was running through Farnham Park, a landscape with almost 900 years of history, originally created as the deer park for Farnham Castle in the 12th century. A fantastic route combining woodland trails, quiet lanes, open countryside and historic landmarks.
