In 1984, he acted again with Kemal Sunal in "Postacı" and "Şabaniye." He appeared with Şener Şen in "Namuslu" and in "Züğürt Ağa" in 1985. He married Güzin Özyağcılar in 1972; their son Emrah and daughter Zeynep were born. He played the role of Şükrü in the TV series "Bizimkiler." After "Bizimkiler," came the series "Şehnaz Tango." In the 2000s, he was one of the most famous actors, receiving great acclaim for his roles in "Yabancı Damat" and "Elveda Rumeli." His statement that he was a shaman was particularly controversial.
