A new survey by the Inequality Map, from the Nossa São Paulo Network, reveals a chasm in life expectancy between neighborhoods in the capital: residents of Brasilândia, on the periphery, live on average to 64 years old, while in Consolação, in the central region, the average reaches 80 years — a difference of 16 years. The study analyzed 45 indicators in 96 districts, including health, education, security, housing, and mobility, and shows how the postal code determines quality of life.
