Grand Tour des Combins - Da Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses al Colle del Gran San Bernardo 4K

Looking for a beautiful trek in an Alpine setting, off the beaten track and immersed in wild and spectacular landscapes? Then the Grand Tour des Combins is the perfect choice for you! The tour is long and takes several days, but don't worry, you can easily break it up into easy day trips with a moderate level of fitness. Today, together with the talented and charming photographer Evi, we'll travel the all-Italian stage from the town of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses to the Great St. Bernard Pass, from where the tour continues into Switzerland. On this stage, we'll pass through the beautiful and picturesque town of Bosses and then enter the valley that leads to the Col de Malatrà. Without reaching it, we'll pass the comfortable Rifugio Frassati and then turn towards the Col des Ceingles, where the stage reaches its highest point, exceeding 2,800 meters. From there, we'll descend towards the Col de Saint-Rhémy and finally reach the Great St. Bernard Pass. This is a beautiful and long stage, perfect for those who are well-trained. Otherwise, there's a refuge in the middle, ready to welcome you and split the trip in two. For all the information, see the link to the official Tour website below: https://mongrandtourdescombins.com/it/ Difficulty: E (Hiker) For the route, find me on Strava or Garmin (Fabio Mochettaz). The route was completed in early September, but it's doable throughout the summer. I recommend checking accommodation availability on the official Tour website (see above). Enjoy!
