5 Secrets about Men
https://peacefulwife.com/ / peacefulwife / peacefulwife https://peacefulsinglegirl.com/ The Peaceful Wife book https://www.amazon.com/Peaceful-Wife-... The Peaceful Mom book https://www.amazon.com/Peaceful-Mom-B... Note - These things are vast generalities. Of course, there are individual differences among various men. So it is important that we get to know our own particular man and his specific personality. My goal with this post is to begin to get us thinking about the idea that men and women are different by God's design and those differences are not about one being better than the other or one being "wrong." 5 Secrets: 1. Men are different from women and that is a good thing! 2. Men's needs tend to be rather simple in marriage - they tend to only need a few basic things like respect, appreciation, attention, and affection. (Reminder - God reserves a sexual bond for marriage between one man and one woman in His design in scripture.) 3. Men are drawn to people and situations where they feel like the hero and are repelled from people and situations where they feel like a failure. 4. Men are hard-wired to deeply desire their woman to be happy. 5. Men tend to bond emotionally by shared experiences and physical activities and often do not emotionally bond with words. Scriptural support: Gen. 1:27 (God made male and female different and it was very good.) Gen. 3:16-17 (men and women were cursed in different ways because of sin) 1 Cor. 11:3 (God's authority structure for the home) Eph. 5:22-33 (God's purpose and design in masculinity and femininity in marriage to display the gospel) To see some post about what "radical feminism" means and how it has impacted us as a society, please check out these posts: http://www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com/... https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/ar...
