Welcome to Rota Natureza! In today's video, we'll be hiking one of the most incredible trails in the city of Ubatuba, in search of the largest waterfall in the state of São Paulo, the Água Branca Waterfall! In addition to our main destination, we'll also pass by the Renata Waterfall, Poço Verde Waterfall, Crânio Waterfall, and Queda Brava Waterfall, making our circuit even more complete. The path to the Água Branca Waterfall is 4.5 km long, starting from the Renata Waterfall. It is highly recommended to go with guides who already know the way, as there are many forks in the trail and it is quite overgrown, making it easy to get lost. We hiked the entire trail guided by two high-precision Garmin GPS devices, with the entire route pre-saved by friends who had hiked the trail before, and even so, there were moments when we had to turn back because we had gone off the trail. In total, we added 2 km to our trail, going back and forth because there were so many leaves on the ground that they ended up blocking the correct paths. Therefore, be very careful and bring enough water and food for your trip, always remembering to let someone know where you are going. (Note: We have been hiking for a long time and are prepared for emergency situations in remote areas. We carried all the necessary equipment for the route, and even so, we found it quite risky, so be VERY CAREFUL!)
