How I Rode The Iron Ore Train in Mauritania
Itinerary: NKC → Arrival → guide pickup in car NKC → Atar (supplies) Atar → Choum (hop on spot) Choum → Nouadhibou (train 12-18hr) Nouadhibou → Nouakchott (8hr car ride) Nouakchott (NKC) → departure This whole thing took me 6-8 hours to plan. Hopefully this helps! It literally felt like I was in the mad max movie or something. Pretty insane experience. If you can figure out how to do this adventure, the world of travel opens. Good luck.
