✨ Exploring the Blue City of Jodhpur | Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada & Umaid Bhawan Palace ✨ Hi guys, welcome back to my channel! ❤️ Welcome to another travel vlog from the beautiful city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan! We had arrived in Jodhpur the previous day and spent a short time exploring Sardar Market, the iconic Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower), and the historic Toorji Ka Jhalra stepwell before calling it a day. Since it was the festive season, the city was buzzing with energy and celebrations. In this vlog, we begin our day with a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most spectacular forts. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Blue City, the fort is known for its grand architecture, rich history, and stunning panoramic views of Jodhpur. We also visited the sacred Chamunda Mata Temple, located within the fort premises. Chamunda Mata is the revered deity of the Jodhpur royal family, and seeking her blessings was a peaceful and memorable experience. Next, we explored Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Known for its intricate carvings and serene surroundings, it is one of Jodhpur’s most beautiful heritage monuments. Later, we visited the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace, an architectural masterpiece and one of the world’s largest private residences. The palace museum showcases royal artifacts, vintage cars, and fascinating glimpses into Jodhpur’s royal legacy.
