TERRY FOX: THE POWER OF ONE

Beloved Canadian Terry Fox dipped his toe in the Atlantic Ocean 41 years ago to embark on one of the most courageous and selfless journeys in the history of all athletes. On August 9th, 2021, Terry Fox: The Power of One will bring our country together from coast to coast to coast for a 60 minute commercial free celebration of what he accomplished and to call all Canadians to action to finish the job that he started - finding a cure for cancer. This television event will reignite Canadians to support Terry's original vision and donate $1 to Cancer Research per Canadian to further achieve his dream. Inspired by his audacious spirit, the special will include performances, story-telling and celebrity testimonials that will celebrate and invigorate Terry's aspirations while bringing all Canadians together to honour his legacy.
