STOP Doing it The Old Way. Mitsubishi Evo Engine Oil Change with Miso Soup! TME

Let's do an engine oil change on a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6.5 TME Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition. I use the Mityvac Fluid Evacuator Plus MV7201 to vacuum the oil out through the dipstick tube and it performed brilliantly. I bought this tool to do an oil change on a Range Rover as it is the recommended way to change oils on some Euro cars and you don't need to remove the bash plate or engine underpanel so its a huge time saver. I will definitely use it again. I also take the car for a drive to get BP fuel and warm the engine and I also also make a tasty Japanese lunch with 2 types of Miso Soup and extra seaweed. Should I add a cooking segment to my future videos? let me know in the Comments. 0:00 Intro 0:45 Driving the Evo to warm up the engine oil 2:26 Preparing to vacuum the oil out thru dipstick using Mityvac pump 4:45 Remove Ryco oil filter 5:17 Make lunch while oil drains from oil filter housing 7:33 Pre fill oil filter & install filter on the car 8:10 Checking all the oil has drained - Proved to myself 8:44 Pour in new engine oil 9:11 Briefly start engine, turn off and check oil level 9:52 Summary and Outro I use the Penrite Oils Australia phone App to help choose which oil to use. I used a genuine Mitsubishi Oil Filter in this video but I'm interested in the new Ryco oil filter now too. I enjoy using my Snap-on Tools but I can review your tools too!
