In this video we'll discover how and why the drain pump failed in the Kenmore washing machine, this forensic work help in having better practices in order to keep the washer working for longer without failure due to abusive usage. Those pumps are used by many manufacturers in some of their models, the standardisation of the parts helps them to keep costs down and reduce the inventory of spare parts, as a consumer it will also be beneficial in the fact that it makes it easier to find a replacement part from multiple sources.
