Defender 110 Body Alignment & Panel Fitting | Epoxy Primer, Sanding & Restoration Progress

In this episode of our Land Rover Defender 110 restoration series, the body is finally mounted back onto the galvanized chassis as we begin the body alignment and panel fitting stage. We walk through how panel gaps, body lines, and overall alignment are carefully adjusted before paint. Temporary rivets are used throughout the process to test fitment and ensure every panel sits correctly before final assembly. This stage also includes sanding the steel sections, applying epoxy primer for corrosion protection, and combining the steel and aluminum body components before the vehicle moves into paint preparation. At Phoenix Restorations, attention to body alignment and structural preparation is a critical part of delivering a high-quality Defender restoration built to last. 🌐 Website: https://thephoenixrestorations.com/ 📸 Instagram: @thephoenixrestorations #LandRoverDefender #Defender110 #DefenderRestoration #LandRoverDefender110 #RestoredDefender #ClassicDefender #LandRoverRestoration #Defender90 #Defender110Restoration #Series3LandRover #LandRoverSeries #RestoredLandRover #Classic4x4 #OffRoadClassic #PhoenixRestorations #DefenderBuild #LandRoverDefenderRestoration #VintageDefender #CustomDefender #GalvanizedChassis
