Luke 18:1-8 1 Jesus told them a parable to show them that they should always pray and not lose heart. 2 He said to them, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor despised man. 3 In that city there was a widow who frequently went to him and said, ‘Give me justice against my enemy.’ 4 For a while he did not listen to her. But afterward he thought to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor despise man, 5 I will grant her justice because she is bothering me; otherwise she would keep coming and bothering me.’ 6 Then the Lord said to them, ‘Listen to what the unjust judge said. How much more will God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night? Will he not delay in doing so? 8 I tell you, he will grant them justice quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?’
