It's winter outside and it's very snowy. I've never owned a snowmobile before, so I decided to fix that. Without thinking twice, I went on Avito in search of the most affordable option, and after a while, among the snowmobiles and other homemade items, I found this beauty, an ancient Buran snowmobile. Naturally, it's very far away and not running, but after talking with the owner, it became clear that it could be resurrected with relatively little effort (though I'm not sure). So, here's the continuation of my snowmobile story! In my previous videos, I was assembling the engine, and eventually got it running, it runs smoothly, and it's in perfect working order. After disassembling the chassis, I discovered a lot more problems with rust, or rather, rot... I needed welding and a grinder, but it was all repaired and welded together. 😅 Then I had to spend money on the chassis and completely replace it with a new one, to save time and get back on the road faster. The transmission also presented problems, and I had to quickly overhaul it. After all this work, I can't wait to test it out. It's best to do this outside the city, of course, where there's more space and you won't be disturbing anyone.
