Doctor helicopters are the lifeblood of emergency care in Oita Prefecture, which is mountainous. They can arrive anywhere in the prefecture within 20 minutes. 11 years have passed since the helicopter was launched, and it has been dispatched to nearly 5,000 cases, saving many lives. The doctor helicopter features emergency flight doctors and flight nurses. To become a fully-fledged flight doctor, you will need to complete a total of five years of initial and specialized training to become a fully-fledged emergency doctor.
