The ambulance also arrived. The patient's condition inside was… Dr. Hagiwara: "Please. How are the ABCs (airway, respiration, circulation)?" Paramedic: "We have the ABCs open for now, but there's bleeding in the airway, and it feels like it's blocking it occasionally." Dr. Hagiwara: "Can you hear me? Can you speak?" Patient: "Yes." Dr. Hagiwara: "Could you unpack (release the restraints) and hold just the head?" There's a risk of the patient becoming unable to breathe due to bleeding. The doctor checks the patient's condition based on their voice and responses. Dr. Hagiwara: "Open your mouth. Is a lot of blood dripping out?" Paramedic: "Do you feel like you're choking?" Patient: "More than before..." The fire department's intervention kept the patient able to speak. However... Patient: "It hurts..." Dr. Hagiwara: "Where does it hurt? Does this (chest) hurt?" Paramedic: "Does your lower back hurt?" Patient: "It hurts here." The patient points to their lower back and complains of pain.
