This £200 Citroen is proof Europe has the best cars in the world

Europe is home to some of the worlds finest chod. Anyone who has been on the continent can tell you there are more interesting cars street parked in a Greek province than there are at entire car events here. Arguably they aren't interesting at all, however they are so unbelievably battered that they become cool by default. Not because they are rare or desirable. They are so unfazed by their lack of materialism that, as a Brit, it's envious to have such an outlook on life. We are too snobby on this isle of ours. Whether it be our mobile phones or our cars, we are far too quick to bin it off. So what has this got to do with this £200 Citroen C3 then? Well when it arrived in PX I instantly felt like I was on holiday - this was perhaps the most Euro car I'd ever seen in the UK. It got me thinking about how wasteful we are as a nation. The fallacy that we have to upgrade rings more true than ever with the ease of finance and PCP deals. And, after spending some time in this 2003 1.4 HDI Exclusive, I think we should all adopt a more European outlook on our car-buying habits.
